Washington, DC, September 10, 2015 — The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce the selection of Steve Cok, Director of Operations & Chief Pilot at Northern Jet Management, and Robert Hamel, Safety Manager at JetSuite to the ACSF Board of Governors.
Mr. Cok holds an airline transport pilot certificate with type-ratings in the Cessna Citation and Learjet 40/45. He has more than 5,600 total flying hours and more than 12 years’ aviation experience. Cok holds a Bachelor of Aeronautical Science degree from Utah Valley State College.
Mr. Hamel has more than 15 years’ experience in mechanical, technical, and leadership positions with the U.S. Navy and on-demand air transportation operators. Since 2010, he has held oversight responsibility at JetSuite in ensuring their Safety Management System, Emergency Response Program, Aviation Safety Action Program, FAA SMS Voluntary Program, and industry audit registrations meet and exceed industry and FAA safety standards. In addition to being an A&P mechanic, Robert also serves as a FAA Safety Team representative.
