Washington, DC, January 26, 2017 — The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce that Advanced Air, LLC, Hawthorne, CA has renewed its status on the ACSF Industry Audit Standard (IAS) Registry.
“We congratulate Advanced Air on renewing their status on the IAS Registry,” said ACSF president Bryan Burns. “This serves to demonstrate their commitment to continuous improvement.”
“We would strongly recommend the adoption of this standard to any organization looking toward continual improvement and the ability to ensure scalability for future growth. The experience of having undergone the ACSF audit process left us with a much stronger, cohesive, and safe operation. The standards set out by ACSF provided us with a roadmap of where we needed to focus our resources to improve or add systems where a shortfall was identified. In addition, the audit left us with a very clear picture of what we are capable of accomplishing, and how to get there. Meeting this standard has given our organization another tool to grow while keeping safety as our number one priority.” said Janise Lambert, Director of Safety, Advanced Air, LLC
The IAS is the first and only extensive audit program specifically created for on-demand operators by a committee of Part 135 and 91K industry leaders. It is conducted every 24 months and is in-depth in its evaluation of regulatory compliance and the operator’s SMS program against both FAA and international standards.
