Washington, DC, March 28, 2017 — The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce that HealthSouth Aviation has joined the ACSF. Along with 146 other companies, HealthSouth supports the ACSF’s vision to promote and enable the highest levels of safety in personal and business aviation through the promotion and facilitation of risk management programs.
“Our mission at HealthSouth is to provide our business travelers with world-class levels of service and safety for all their company travel needs,” said HealthSouth Director of Flight Operations, Steve Driggers. “We continually look for additional ways to improve our safety culture. Participating in the aviation safety action program (ASAP) program in conjunction with the ACSF will add to HealthSouth’s safety management system.”
HealthSouth is one of the nation’s largest providers of post-acute healthcare services, offering both facility-based and home-based post-acute services in 35 states and Puerto Rico through its network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. HealthSouth leads the way, with its intensive approach to rehabilitation. They have a strong tradition of leadership, service and care by supporting communities with everything they do. “The flight department attributes the company’s outstanding safety record to a culture that starts at the top, exceptional employees, and relentless training,” added Driggers.
“We are pleased to welcome HealthSouth to the foundation,” said ACSF President Bryan Burns. “Becoming a member of ACSF and participating in our ASAP program demonstrates their commitment to continuous improvement.”
