ACSF Adds Alexander Evans and Andrew Ha to Growing Team

Washington, DC, July 19, 2023 — The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ASCF.aero), a non-profit organization that supports the highest safety standards for more than 315 business, charter and fractional operators in the aviation industry, today announced two additions to its growing team. Filling critical roles at the ACSF are Alexander Evans, who will serve as the new Assistant Director of Safety; and and Andrew Ha, who has been named Programs Administrator.

“We continue to build out our team here at the ACSF, and we couldn’t be happier to onboard two up-and-coming alumni from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University,” noted ACSF President & CEO Bryan Burns. “Alex and Andrew are already making their mark, and we look forward to their continuing contributions to aviation safety.”

Alexander Evans

Alexander “Alex” Evans has years of experience overseeing charter airlines operations, and in his role as Assistant Director of Safety will help support the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) and Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) for participating member companies. Prior to joining the ACSF, he was a Senior Passenger Service Representative for Atlas Air, based in Purchase, New York. At Atlas, Evans helped transport U.S. Armed Forces around the world, including the 2021 evacuation from Afghanistan called “Operation Allied Refuge.” While working for Flightline Aircraft Services as a Passenger Aircraft Agent, he oversaw ground operations and ground security for NFL team charters. Evans earned a BS in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He also has expertise in planning, implementing and coordinating aviation safety programs.

Andrew Ha

As Programs Administrator, Ha coordinates logistics in support of the Aviation Safety Action Program. Previously, Ha interned for Allegiant Airlines in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he also served his native country, South Korea, as a military Battalion Squadron Leader. Ha was honored with the Most Exemplary Soldier Award from the 39th Infantry Brigadier General. A commercial pilot with an instrument rating, Ha is working to complete his flight instructor license requirements in Daytona Beach, Florida.
