NBAA Strongly Supports ACSF Safety Symposium and BASS

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is a proud sponsor of the 2022 ACSF Safety Symposium to be held April 5-6 in Daytona Beach, FL.

“The ACSF Safety Symposium offers a great opportunity for the business aviation community to come together and discuss aviation safety topics, and really enhance our understanding and approach,” said Mark Larsen, CAM, NBAA director, safety and flight operations and an ACSF board member. “We want to support safety efforts for all segments of business aviation in a way that resonates with each of the various audiences within business aviation.”

As part of its ongoing commitment to encourage continued improvements in business aviation safety, NBAA is proudly supporting two important upcoming safety events – the Air Charter Safety Foundation’s (ACSF) Safety Symposium and the Flight Safety Foundation’s Business Aviation Safety Summit (BASS).

The ACSF Safety Symposium is geared toward professionals in the air charter and business aviation industry looking to review and discuss current and emerging safety challenges.

Sponsored by NBAA, the ACSF Safety Symposium targets a wide variety of business aviation professionals, including aircraft charter brokers, maintenance and management professionals and leaders, aviation directors, safety auditors and more.

The 67th annual BASS, hosted by the Flight Safety Foundation in partnership with NBAA, runs May 10-11 in Savannah, GA and provides a forum for the business aviation industry to meet and identify safety concerns, devise approaches to reduce risk and implement initiatives to improve safety.

Summit topics cover safety training, practical solutions, management, human factors and other issues of importance to many segments of the business aviation industry.

BASS attendees have an opportunity to receive updates on the latest safety initiatives and developments in flight operations; hear perspectives from international aviation experts on leading safety challenges and issues; learn about the latest technological developments and enhancements to flight operations safety and network with aviation safety peers from the international aviation community.

“We have a long relationship with the Flight Safety Foundation,” said Doug Carr, NBAA senior vice president, safety, security, sustainability and international affairs. “We view the BASS event as one of our community’s must-attend safety events each year.”

NBAA is a member of the Flight Safety Foundation Business Advisory Committee that assists the foundation with BASS agenda development and identifying speakers.
