Washington, DC, May 23, 2017 – The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce that Milliken and Company has joined the ACSF. Along with 150 other companies, Milliken supports the ACSF’s vision to promote and enable the highest levels of safety in personal and business aviation through the promotion and facilitation of risk management programs.
“Our mission at Milliken is to provide our business travelers with world-class levels of service and safety for all their company travel needs,” said Milliken Director of Aviation, Thomas Paudler. “We continually look for additional ways to improve our safety culture. Participating in the aviation safety action program (ASAP) in conjunction with the ACSF will add to Milliken’s safety management system.”
Milliken, a global leader in textiles and specialty chemicals, embraces new ideas in fabrics, plastics, and chemicals by combining science with design and insights. “The flight department attributes the company’s outstanding safety record to a culture that starts at the top, exceptional employees, and relentless training,” added Milliken Pilot & Safety Manager, Scott Gordon.
“We are pleased to welcome Milliken and Company to the foundation,” said ACSF President Bryan Burns. “Becoming a member of ACSF and participating in our ASAP program demonstrates their commitment to continuous improvement.”
