Washington, DC, February 26, 2020 — The Air Charter Safety Foundation (acsfdev.com) welcomes its newest member, Pro Airways, LLC (proairways.com). Serving both Boston and New York City travelers, the private jet charter company joins ACSF’s roster of more than 225 member companies whose joint mission is to enable the highest levels of safety in personal, charter and business aviation.
Pro Airways has also joined the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), which is administered by the ACSF in partnership with the Federal Aviation Authority. As program members, Pro Airways employees may voluntarily report significant safety concerns, non-compliance with regulations and other unusual events. Each report is investigated, and corrective actions are determined based on a non-disciplinary approach to flight safety.”
Pro Airways’ Director of Standardization and Training, Robert M. Frye, said this about the company’s safety efforts. “Our interest in membership in the ACSF stems from the fact that our two founders have a combined 45,000 hours of safe commercial aviation experience between them. Together, they’ve created a company that strives for the utmost in professionalism and safety. We look forward to participating in the Aviation Safety Action Program.
“Of course we’re delighted to accept Pro Airways as one of our newest ACSF members,” Burns said. “Their emphasis on maintaining extremely high standards of safety in all their operations make them a perfect candidate for the ACSF, as well as for our ASAP program. We look forward to working with them.”
