Washington, DC, March 23, 2018 — The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce that Fresno based Silver Air is the newest charter operator to join the ACSF. Along with 161 other companies, Silver Air supports the ACSF’s vision to promote and enable the highest levels of safety in personal and business aviation through the promotion and facilitation of risk management programs.
“At Silver Air, safety is at the foundation of all our services,” said Silver Air Director of Safety, Shawn Grenier. “Silver Air’s steadfast dedication to passenger safety and security is supported by a comprehensive and ongoing program of internal review and third-party audits. Our ACSF membership represents that commitment to safety, and we’re very pleased to have the organization’s support.”
Silver Air’s team members share the common belief that safety — even above and beyond what is considered regulatory — must be a core value for their company.
“Silver Air is built around a top-down culture of safety that expects and encourages clear, open dialogue, empowering every team member to be an active contributor to the welfare of their passengers. We are delighted that they will be participating in the ACSF-ASAP program,” said ACSF President Bryan Burns.
The ACSF has developed the industry audit standard, an all-inclusive audit tailored for Part 135 and 91K operators that acts as a detailed gap analysis of an operator’s management practices. The audit program consists of a thorough review of an operator’s processes, procedures and regulatory compliance and the operator’s implementation of and adherence to a safety management system.
