He holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from California State University – Sacramento.

Prior to joining EJM, Fox served as a United States Army officer, and attack and air cavalry helicopter pilot, commander, and trainer in the AH-64A Apache, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army ranger and airborne schools. As President and CEO, Mr. Mayo oversees corporate direction and strategy for Mayo Aviation’s operations, including marketing, sales, flight operations, safety and maintenance. He focuses on strategy, leadership, innovation, safety and customers. “My role as the CEO is to enable my people and my organization to embrace the changes that we are facing-if I enable them, change will happen,” remarked Mayo.

Mr. Mayo received a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Tulane University of New Orleans in 1985. Mr. Mayo is a founding member of the Air Charter Safety Foundation, and has been recognized multiple times by the National Business Aircraft Association for his outstanding commitment to aviation safety.

“Dennis and Bill have been invaluable members of the ACSF Board of Governors, and I’m delighted to have them join our Executive Committee,” said ACSF President Bryan Burns. “With their knowledge, experience and leadership in the aviation industry, they will help support and sustain the foundation’s ongoing and future safety activities and initiatives.”
