Washington, DC, April 29, 2020 — Executive Aviation Corporation (executiveaviation.com), a leading charter and aircraft management company based in West Palm Beach, Florida, has joined the Air Charter Safety Foundation (acsfdev.com), and will be among the more than 175 companies participating in the ACSF’s adjunct service, the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP).
With more than 230 member companies, the ACSF is a non-profit aviation safety organization that provides programs, including the ASAP, to enable the highest levels of safety in personal, charter and business aviation. The ASAP is administered by the ACSF in partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration. It is designed to enable all its members’ employees to voluntarily report significant safety concerns, non-compliance with regulations and other unusual events. Each report is investigated, and corrective actions are determined based on a non-disciplinary approach to flight safety.
“Safety is a ‘job-one’ priority for us,” said Gregory McDermott, President of Executive Aviation Corporation. “It has to permeate everything we do. That’s why we’ve joined the Air Charter Safety Foundation, and will participate in the Aviation Safety Action Program. We want to be in a position to continually seek out opportunities to enhance our safety record.”
Bryan Burns, President of ACSF, said he was delighted that Executive Aviation has joined the organization’s ranks and its ASAP program. “It’s so gratifying to us and our mission at ACSF that companies like Executive Aviation recognize the importance of what we do regarding safety,” Burns said. “We’re very happy to welcome them into the fold.”
