Alexandria, VA, March 23, 2012 — The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce the selection of Dennis Keith, president and owner of Jet Solutions, LLC, to succeed the current chairman, Jim Christiansen, whose term expires June 30, 2012.
Mr. Keith has a diverse 44 year aviation background. As president of Jet Solutions he led the company to be the first Part 135 operator to be listed on the ACSF registry. As president of Flexjet he helped develop the fractional ownership business and introduced many new customers to the benefits of business aviation. He spent 26 years with the Frito Lay corporate flight department, where he served as a co-pilot/mechanic, chief pilot, and director.
He was the founder of Keith Products and co-founder of Heads Up Technologies, where he designed and developed aircraft systems and modifications which were sold to manufactures and end users.
Mr. Keith has served on the ACSF Board of Governors since the foundation’s inception and is a former chairman of the National Air Transportation Association.
Dennis served in the United States Air Force for six years, providing maintenance services for military aircraft. Mr. Keith holds airframe, power-plant and airline transport pilot certificates. He has multiple type ratings and more than 8,500 hours of flight time. Mr. Keith is co-author of Federal Aviation Regulations Explained Parts 1, 21, 43, 65, 145, and 147.
