Fresh off the heels of the 2026 ACSF Safety Symposium, the Ground Operations Working Group is back in full swing. During the event, Patrick Burns and Larry Soles did a quick briefing for the audience on the group, its intent, and potential outputs. Shortly after returning from Daytona Beach, the group met to discuss the status of data and procedure collection, as well as discuss some ideas for some quick win items to give back to industry in the next 30 days.We are happy to report that we are nearing completion of collecting damage data from group members and have begun the process of collating the data into one data set for the group to analyze. In addition, we have received ground operations procedures from our operator, FBO, and MRO partners to begin identifying gaps between what ground crews expect and what operators expect when pulling onto the ramp.If you have an item that you’d like the working group to take a look at, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Larry Soles (lsoles@acsf.aero) or Patrick Burns (Patrick.burns@wheelsup.com) and we will gladly add it to our agenda.
