Washington, DC, May 6, 2021 – The Air Charter Safety Foundation (acsfdev.com), a non-profit aviation safety organization with more than 255 member companies, welcomes Jet It (gojetit.com), a North Carolina-based fractional aviation membership and ownership company, as its newest member. Jet It senior management said it will also participate in the ACSF’s Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP).
“We’re honored to align with the Air Charter Safety Foundation to leverage their expertise,” said Glenn Gonzales, Jet It’s CEO and Co-founder. “And, as well, the implementation of ASAP is a tangible expression of our commitment to keep safety at the forefront of our operations, and ensure it is inculcated within our culture.”
The ACSF is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an ASAP Program Manager for Part 135 operators, Part 91 flight departments and 91K program managers in all contiguous U.S. states. The ASAP, an adjunct program jointly operated by the ACSF and the FAA, is designed to help foster a voluntary, cooperative and nonpunitive environment for the self-reporting of any events or concerns that could affect the safety of a flight.
Gonzales continued: “At Jet It, our number-one priority is the safety of our passengers. ACSF and, particularly, ASAP, will enable Jet It employees to identify and report safety issues to Jet It management and to the FAA for resolution confidentially. By extending this resource to Jet It employees, they’ll be able to report any safety issues without fear of FAA legal repercussions or Jet It disciplinary action.”
ACSF President Bryan Burns enthusiastically welcomed Jet It into the ACSF organization. “Jet It is a dynamic new company and concept in jet ownership and travel, and we applaud the company’s foresight in making membership in the ACSF such an immediate priority. It’s an indication of just how important an issue safety is for Jet It’s owners and management team.”
